The cost of the standard Isuzu NQR matatu stands at Kshs 6.5 Million and an investor is supposed to raise 30% of the total cost as a deposit. That comes to around Kshs 1. 96 Million. The total loan repayment period is 48 months and monthly loan installments of Kshs 121, 000 are required. The installments are due every 30th of every month without fail.
