Kirinyaga pastor sentenced to 140 years in jail for defiling his 2 daughters

A pastor in Ndia Constituency, Kirinyaga County has been sentenced to 140 years in jail after pleading guilty to defiling and impregnating his two teenage daughters aged 14 and 16 years.

Senior Principal Magistrate, Anthony Mwicigi, slapped the culprit with a 70 years jail term for sexually assaulting each of the girls. The court ruled that the sentence will run consecutively, thus leaving the 51-year-old man with 140 years behind bars.

The accused admitted the offence blaming the devil for his offences and asked for forgiveness from his children and the court. He was remanded until Thursday, January 7 awaiting judgement on January 14th, 2021.

According to the charge allegations, the suspect is believed to have committed the offences on diverse dates with first offence between 1st to 30th of June, 2019 and the second offence between 1st to 31st of August, 2020 in Kianyakiru village in Ndia Constituency in Kirinyaga.

The man going by the name, Gichina was arrested in Mbeere South from his hideout after police launched an operation to arrest him early last month.

The first girl is pregnant with a 7-month old baby and the other a 5-month old baby.
