Morara Kebaso to Vie For President in 2027

Morara Kebaso is taking over the interwebs and gaining public popularity through his passionate activism. The young lawyer is singlehandedly doing a countrywide tour, to unravel Ruto’s ghost projects and bring the government to accountability.

Political Background

Morara hails from Kisii County. Her mother was still in high school when he had him. He comes from the family of Kenya’s first senator of Kisii, John Kebaso, who was under the Majimbo system after independence.

His late grandfather, George Kebaso, was also an MP for West Mogirango.

Morara Kebaso hints at presidency

In a social media comment, the political activist answered a query in a way that suggested that he could be aiming at the highest office in the land.

In one comment, a user named Nichol Charles doubted if he’ll be able to vie for the presidency in the next general elections under the current constitution.   The minimum age limit is 35 under the current constitution. He argued that he would be 31 by then and not old enough.

The serial entrepreneur and Kenyatta University graduate replied that the new constitution only presidential candidate requirement is an adult of sound mind. That means that he’s fit to stand for office, begging the question, is Morara Kebaso hinting at a shot at the presidency?

Fundraising His Campaign

The Maseno School alumnus’s zealous efforts, have gained him recognition in promoting government transparency and accountability in Kenya.

The crowd-funding tactic he is using to fund his current civic education trips could be a bigger ploy to start his campaigns early. He is currently asking to buy a public address system that he says will cost between Kshs 840, 000 and 1 million.

A Serial Entrepreneur

He currently runs a furniture business (Morara Furniture),  which currently employs 85 Kenyans directly across its four different branches. The branches are in Nairobi Utawala, Kangundo Road, Eldoret Annex, and in Bamburi, Mombasa.

Kebaso is a jack-of-all-trades and has been a salesman for Kaysalt, a wholesale avocado seller By the age of 28, sold insurance and ran a wine and spirits shop. Morara had achieved significant milestones at a young age, including buying his first car at 22, driving multiple Prado vehicles, and purchasing a house at 26.

He is currently married to Mercy Moraa since he was 21. His wife is very hardworking too and understanding and has helped him accomplish his goals and holds her in high regard.
