The nominees for the 2020 STARQT awards have finally been announced.
The 7th edition of the South African-based awards gala will be honouring individuals who stood out during the lockdown in various areas including; entertainment, lifestyles, business, community, and sports.
Kenyan Azziad Nasenya, popularly referred to as TikTok Queen has received a nomination for her outstanding acts on Tiktok. Azziad rose to fame with a dance video to a Kenyan hit song called Utawezana done by rappers Femi One and Mejja.
The global ambassador for Save Our Future is nominated in the ‘Best TikTok Act’ category alongside other African Tiktok content creators from South Africa, Uganda and Nigeria.
