After a brief but notable absence, automotive industry titan and serial entrepreneur Khalif Kairo has officially announced his monumental comeback to the car business.
The news, which broke via his social media platforms, has sent waves of mixed reactions through the automotive world, signaling a new chapter for the visionary known for his disruptive approach.
Kairo, who previously made a name for himself in the market with his innovative dealership models and his populist marketing approach, was away after a series of misfortunes followed him to jail, where he was arrested for tax fraud.
Before he was charged, Kairo was arrested several times on fraud allegations after some people claimed he defrauded them of millions after failing to deliver their cars, even after they paid him through his company Kaiandkaro.
Recently, he had promised that his comeback would be bigger and more impactful than his previous ventures. While specific details about the new enterprise remained tightly under wraps, Kenyans on X were buzzing with speculation.
The Major Comeback
On September 9, 2025, he posted that Kaiandkaro was relaunching Direct Import Services.
“We are pleased to announce the resumption of direct vehicle import services at Kaiandkaro.com,” the poster read, adding that the new model is designed to “improve transparency, reduce delays and deliver an enhanced customer experience.”
The post further clarified their new model of operation in detail. They are going to have three purchase options for the customers as follows.
- Optional Direct Payments to Japan
- Flexible 50% CIF Payment Plan
- Purchase on Your Behalf
More details on the value additions were also posted on the poster in a bid to improve transparency and hopefully gain his clientele back.
Apart from being a successful businessman and a social media influencer, Kairo also made a good number of haters and enemies who are looking forward to his failure. At ONPoint News, we wish him nothing but the best in his anticipated comeback.
