Netanyahu Praises Trump For Bombing Iran Nuclear Sites

In a dramatic escalation of the Israel vs Iran conflict, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel announced the successful destruction of Iran’s key nuclear sites in a joint operation with the United States. Addressing the nation after the attack, he declared that Operation “Rising Lion” had achieved a historic victory by eliminating Iran’s nuclear threat in totality.

The Israeli Prime Minister revealed that United States forces, in coordination with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), conducted precision strikes on Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites.

Long-standing Promise

He emphasized that this operation fulfilled his long-standing promise to nullify Iran’s nuclear capabilities, which he described as an existential threat to the state of Israel and global security.

Netanyahu confirmed that President Trump personally authorized the strikes. This revelation marks a rare public admission of U.S.-Israel military collaboration against Iran.

He also revealed that Trump reportedly called him in a “warm and emotional” conversation, during which both leaders exchanged congratulations for their respective armed forces. Netanyahu heaped praises on the US president as an “unmatched friend of Israel” and thanked him for his decisive leadership.

President Donald Trump, on the other hand, released a statement announcing the operation.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran’s airspace,” part of his Truth Social post read.

The strikes come amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel after a week of exchanging a barrage of missiles. Analysts now suggest that this direct military intervention could cause a dangerous regional escalation.

As Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump celebrate this strategic and “successful operation”, the world watches for Iran’s response. The main question will be whether this operation marks the end of the war between the two countries or the beginning of a wider war involving other countries.
