BM Security, the oldest private security firm in the country, has announced a recruitment drive for new security officers. The exercise will be conducted in Nairobi county among other counties all over the country.
The firm BM has advertised the vacancies on its website.
“We are urgently recruiting a big number of security officers and ladies who are Kenyan citizens of high intergrity, highly motivated, results oriented, and willing to joing our guarding section for deployment at the beginning of October 2024.
Recruitment will also be at BM offices in Mombasa, Kisumu, Kisii, Eldoret, Nakuru and Nyeri,” the ad read in part.
Requirements for Recruitment
Potential candidates are required to have the following:
- a minimum of a KCSE certificate
- certificate of good conduct
- men should be aged between 26-40 years old
- ladies should be aged between 25-35 years old
- height for men- 5′ 55″
- height for women- 5′ 3″
- proficient in oral and written Kiswahili and English languages.
Alarm/Project Technician Positions
The security firm also advertised the alarms/projects technician and marketing officer positions.
The requirement for this field is a diploma/degree in electronic/electrical engineering and at least 3 years of experience installing alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.
The recruitment is done Monday- Saturday between 7:00 am and 8:30 am at BM headquarters.
The HQ is located, along Jamhuri Road, off Ngong Road, on the way to the Nairobi International Show Ground.
