The Nandi County Government has announced a wide range of vacancies across multiple departments in the county.

They are looking for a total of 245 vacancies to be filled, on a permanent and pensionable basis.

The board is looking for qualified, motivated, and experienced individuals to take up the positions.

1. Fireman II

Positions: 4
Job Group: G
Department: Administration, Public Service, and ICT

Firemen II are the frontline team responsible for:

• extinguishing fires
• rescuing individuals from dangerous situations
• providing emergency first aid.

Experience: Fire safety and emergency management.

2. Fireman I

Positions: 4
Job Group: H
Department: Administration, Public Service, and ICT

Fireman I positions are senior roles within the fire services team responsible for:

• supervising junior firemen
• coordinating fire prevention activities
• leading response efforts during fire emergencies.

Experience: Fire management, leadership, and risk mitigation.

3. Assistant Director of Disaster Management

The Assistant Director of Disaster Management is responsible for:

• overseeing disaster preparedness and response strategies across the county
• work closely with county stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure effective management of disasters

This senior Cardiologist will be responsible for:

• provide specialized clinical services in the diagnosis

Experience: Advanced clinical expertise and experience in managing complex medical cases.

6. Senior Registered Clinical Officer (Paediatrician)

The Pediatrician will be responsible for:

• providing medical services for children, from diagnosis to treatment and care.

Experience: A skilled Clinical Officer with an extensive experience in pediatric healthcare.

7. Clinical Officer I

Clinical Officer I will be responsible for: 

• providing comprehensive healthcare services, including patient consultations, diagnosis, and treatment.

Experience: Registered Clinical Officers with relevant experience in general medicine.

• position entails supporting the senior clinical team in providing medical services

• performing a wide range of diagnostic laboratory tests.
