“Man United Have Betrayed Me,” Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is in the headlines once again accusing Manchester United of betraying him.

In an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan, Cristiano has let out deadly accusations against Manchester United and head coach Erik Ten Hag.

He has accused Manchester United of betraying him and Teg Hag of disrespecting him.

According to him, Manchester United tried to force him out of the club.

“I feel that some people didn’t want me at Manchester United, not only this year but last season too. Not only the manager but also the other guys who are around the club. I felt betrayed,” he told Piers.

The Portuguese star says he doesn’t respect Erik Ten Had.

“I don’t have respect for Erik ten Hag because he doesn’t show respect for me, it’s simple,” he added.

Ronaldo also revealed that ‘nothing has changed since Sir Alex (Fergusson) left the club. He was referring to the structural changes that have been ongoing since 2013 after Alex Fergusson left.

He adds that by coming back to Manchester United in 2021, he followed his heart. However, this was after Sir Alex told him that “it’s impossible for you to come to Manchester City” which he agreed to.

CR7 also expressed his disappointment with the current Manchester United saying the club deserves to be top. He added that he has no issue with being destroyed if that is what will take to rebuild the team.

Former teammate, Wayne Rooney was also part of the talk. When asked to comment about him, Ronaldo threw some sheds accusing Rooney of being jealous.

“I don’t know why he criticizes me so badly. It’s probably because he finished his career and I am still playing at a high level. I am not going to say that I am looking better than him,” he said referring to Rooney.

Ronaldo also emphasized his love for the club and the fans. He adds that the interview is to let the fans know the truth.

“I love Manchester United. I love the fans. They are always on my side. But if they want to do it differently, they have to change many things,” CR7 added.
